Let's Face it High School Coaches are Underpaid!

Writer's picture: Beyond the HypeBeyond the Hype

Let’s face it as a high school coach you are underpaid, over worked and probably under appreciated for all of the time and care you put into your student-athletes and program. You hold many hats beyond practice planning, scouting, game strategies, strength and conditioning, and travel (just to name a few.) I admire what high school coaches do for their student-athletes every year and if someone hasn’t thanked you lately let me do it for them.

I have been involved with youth, high-school and college sports for over 15 years and have experienced much of what I stated above. But despite all of that I knew it was my duty to help my student athlete’s not only achieve immediate success but also help them achieve their long term goals of playing their sport at the college level, graduating with a degree and being successful contributing members of society.

As a coach I had limited resources to be able to search out every college in the country that each of my players may have an opportunity to play at. It would have been easy for me to cut that work short, and it probably would have been justified with everything else I had to do that went unpaid.

I have made it my mission and purpose to continue to help coaches and student-athletes get the opportunity to live out their dreams. And what I am bringing to you today does just that.

We provide a recruitment software and platform that allows each student-athlete, and yourself as a coach, access to every college coach in the country for every sport. It used to take me days to update my lists of college coaches every year due to all of the coaching changes that occur at the four-year level. We are taking care of that for you and your student-athletes as our database is updated every 3 months..

Our platform is simple and powerful!

Every student-athlete directly loads their film to their personal profile along with their academic and athletic information. They are given a recruit timeline that walks them through every step they need to take to get the offer they want, we are putting them in control.

You may think some of your student-athletes should just move on from their sport, that they probably are not good enough, they don’t have what it takes and so on. Maybe you are right, but more often than not I found opportunities for the large majority of players every year simply because I was willing to do the work. And who are we to tell student-athletes to give up on their dreams. Even some of the greatest professional athletes in sports have been overlooked at some point in time. And lofty dreams and goals, despite what society may say, are what continues to positively change the future.

Let these student-athletes dream and let’s let them be great!
